Léna Valiquette, Certified Tea Master™

Léna Valiquette, Certified Tea Master a pioneer in the Canadian Tea Industry, has owned tea businesses located in Ontario since 2000. She has been studying tea for over 15 years, in a North American society dominated by coffee. Lena believes that the tea industry is in its infancy, still dominated by boxed bag teas combined with an uneducated consumer, who unwittingly accepts mediocre quality teas. She is also an Ambassador for awareness towards the superior quality, diversity, and complexity of loose leaf tea. Using her extreme gift of scent, she can discern even the most subtle varietal changes in region and terroirs, offering up the perfect infusion for each client.

A Master Blender, she has been creating holistic tea blends for Hockley Valley Herb & Tea, and custom blend for other businesses and restaurant. As a local Naturalist, she has intimate knowledge of local spices, herbs, native plants with their flavours and medicinal properties. As a global explorer, she has gathered extensive knowledge of uncommon spices, herbs and berries from exotic locations with incredible medicinal properties.

A Naturalist in her own life - she extends her knowledge to all clients to enhance 100% natural living, through food, drink, personal care, and home environment, using only the most natural spices, botanicals, plants, and food ingredients. Léna is proud to be a part of the American Tea Master Association.
